Warehouse Operative

Location: Atherton

Salary: £29,000K

Hours of Work: 45hrs per week.

• Mon to Weds: 07:30 to 17:00
• Thurs & Fri: (Alternating Shift) 07:30 to 17:00 / 08:00 to 17:30
• Sat: Closed
• Sun: Closed

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, duties will include:

• Operation of FLT, Unloading & Weighing Scrap Metal delivered to site by Nationwide Scrap
• Metal Merchants and local public trade
• Grading, Quality Checking, Sorting & Processing of Scrap Metal (Training Provided)
• General Warehouse Duties/Requirements – Housekeeping, Machinery Maintenance,
• Environmental Procedures, Health & Safety Procedures
• Opportunities to develop within the team

Experience Required:

• FLT Licence
• Team Worker
• Good attendance & timekeeping record
• Warehouse, Construction or Waste Recycling Experience
• Team Worker

Experience Desired (Not essential):

• Plant Machinery Operation Experience
• Scrap Metal knowledge
