The Role:

Working for a successful Civil Engineering company based in South East London, you will be working as a Service Engineer / Fitter - workshop based. You will have previous engineering experience working on a range of Plant Equipment such as; Excavators, Dumpers, etc, as well as a variety of construction tools. As part of the role it would also be helpful if you have the skills to service and repair their commercial vehicle fleet, vans ect, including preparation for MOTs. The salary for this position is £35 - 45k per annum, Monday - Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

As Service Engineer / Fitter - Plant, Tools & Vehicles, Your Job Role Would Include:

• PDI’s, servicing & repairing plant equipment and vehicles
• Order spare parts and consumables as required
• Be organised and maintain the cleanliness of the workshop
• Complete administration tasks including service & repair records accurately
• Present a professional and positive attitude
• Maintain health & safety to HSE & company standards

Skills & Requirements:

The Ideal Candidate for the Service Engineer / Fitter - Plant, Tools & Vehicles Role Will Have:

• Previous experience in one or more of the following roles: Service Engineer; Mobile Service Engineer; Plant Fitter
• Analytical approach to problem solving
• Able to work without instruction
• Able to set and maintain high standards
• Good communication skills, both verbal & written
• Own work tools
• Full UK drivers licence
