Location - West Midlands

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Freelance MEP Quantity Surveyor for a Tier 1 Build Contractor in in Birmingham.

MEP Quantity Surveyor Role

To lead and manage the M&E subcontractor package on a local government scheme in the West Midlands

MEP Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities:-

• Feasibility, Price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project.
• Preparing tender documents, contracts, budgets & bills of quantities.
• Liaising with clients & contractors to ensure the budget requirements are met.
• Managing cashflow for large MEP packages throughout delivery.
• Compiling and issuing commercial reports to the project leadership team for CVR's
• Preparing forecasts and reports on financial status and cash flow.
• Ensuring that the month on month cash position is positive and the forecasted project margin is met or exceeded

MEP Quantity Surveyor Requirements:-

• HNC/HND Building Services / OR BSc Quantity Surveying & Construction Management
• Experience of working for an M&E Subcontractor is preferable
• Experience of working with high value M&E packages
• JCT OR NEC Forms of Contract

Rate

PAYE Option Available £350 Day Rate
