Job Title: Senior Partner - Head of Energy Practice

Location: Wales and Bristol

Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time

Salary: £120,000 - £150,000 per annum, plus a 20% bonus scheme and benefits

Notably, they have advised on major transactions, including the acquisition of exclusive development rights for one of the UK's largest battery storage projects and the development and sale of a multi-turbine wind farm project. Responsibilities:
As the Head of Energy Practice, you will:

• Lead and expand the firm's energy sector practise, providing strategic direction and thought leadership.
• Advise clients on complex energy-related legal and commercial matters, including renewable energy projects, regulatory compliance, transactions, and disputes.
• Develop and implement innovative business development strategies to attract and retain clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, regulators, and industry partners.
• Stay updated on emerging trends, regulatory changes, and market developments to provide clients with cutting-edge insights.
• Collaborate with internal teams and cross-sector specialists to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.
• Mentor and develop junior lawyers and team members, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

• Proven experience in the energy sector, with a robust understanding of legal, regulatory, and commercial frameworks.
• A track record of leadership, business development, and team management.
• Expertise in advising on energy transactions, infrastructure projects, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong network within the energy industry, including relationships with key stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to drive strategic initiatives and contribute to the firm's overall growth.
• A passion for innovation and sustainability in the energy sector.

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

• Experience in managing a high-performing legal team.
• Familiarity with international energy markets and regulations.
• Advanced degree or relevant certifications in energy law or related fields.
