Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking a Junior / Graduate Heating & Renewables System Designer to join our team at the McInnes Group based in Inverness to assist in the design of domestic heating and renewable energy systems.

Starting at £28,000 in year one, your hard work and dedication will be rewarded with an increase to £30,000 in year two and an impressive £34,000 by year three. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design of domestic and small commercial heating and renewable energy systems
• Collaborate with senior designers and engineers on project specifications and system design
• Develop a strong understanding of renewable technology and its application in both residential and small commercial settings
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance your technical knowledge and skills
• Ensure that designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and best practices
• Support project delivery teams in ensuring the successful implementation of system designs
• Work closely with clients and team members to meet project objectives and deadlines

Required Skill:

• A strong interest in renewable energy and heating systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills in a fast-evolving industry
• Basic understanding of heating and renewable systems is a plus but not essential
• Familiarity with renewable energy systems, such as heat pumps, solar PV and battery storage
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations
