Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Shuttering Carpenter to join our construction team for an exciting project in the Kings Cross area. This is a full-time, temporary position starting ASAP. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating formwork for concrete structures, ensuring all measurements and installations are precise and meet safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Construct and dismantle formwork for various concrete structures.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Measure, cut, and assemble timber or metal formwork systems.
• Ensure all formwork is built to the specified dimensions and tolerances.
• Work collaboratively with other construction professionals.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Shuttering Carpenter in the construction industry.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong knowledge of building materials, tools, and equipment.
• Excellent measurement and cutting skills.
• Physical stamina and strength for lifting and working on construction sites.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Valid CSCS card or equivalent certification.
• Own tools and transport are advantageous.
