I am supporting a construction firm based in Holbeck with an immediate requirement for a bookkeeper to maintain the companies' finances.

This will an interim position whilst the business looks to source a permanent recruit, meaning there is the possibility that this will progress into a permanent role where sought.

The successful candidate will have experience acting in a sole finance role for an owner managed business and available for an immediate start.

Main duties of the role:

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Daily reconciliations of all bank deposits, credit card transactions, payroll, etc.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of all general ledger accounts.
• Making BACS payments via the bank.
• Reconcile tax payments.
• Prepare payroll.
• Prepare VAT returns.
• Process expenses.

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
