The role
My client is an international law firm, ranked in the UK Top 50, who are looking for an experienced solicitor to join their Real Estate team as a Senior Associate, based in Leeds city centre. As well as handling your own caseload of matters, you will assist partners and other fee earners, undertaking a wide range of commercial property work.
You will be 5+ years' PQE or equivalent experience in real estate work (commercial property), gained in a large regional or City law firm.
Areas of work include:
Land acquisitions including options and conditional contracts
Property investment acquisitions and disposals acting for both buyers and sellers
Acting for landlords and tenants in connection with the grant of business leases
Retail, leisure and healthcare development work (excluding construction)
General management work
