They specialise in providing comprehensive health and safety services, including Principal Designer roles under the Building Safety Act, CDM 2015 Regulations, and a broad range of consultancy services. Some of their clients range across sectors such as health, retail, education and energy.
The Principal Designer Role

The successful Principal Designer will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with the new Building Safety Act (2022) across various construction projects.

Acting as the Principal Designer, providing expert guidance on safety regulations throughout the design and construction phases.

Ensuring all projects comply with the latest safety standards and regulations under the Building Safety Act.

Collaborating with clients, architects, and contractors to identify and mitigate design risks.

Preparing and reviewing essential safety documentation, including safety case reports and building safety certificates.

Conducting regular site inspections and safety audits to ensure continuous compliance and improvement.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects, from residential high-rises to large commercial developments, within a reputable and supportive consultancy.
The ideal Principal Designer will have

Extensive experience in Principal Designer roles.

In-depth knowledge of the Building Safety Act and related safety regulations.

A background in construction, engineering, or architecture.

Relevant qualifications such as NEBOSH Construction Certificate, APS membership, or equivalent.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.

A proactive, detail-oriented, and client-focused approach.
