Day-to-day of the role:

Utilise a council-provided vehicle, equipped with essential building materials.

Receive your daily job allocations through a work mobile phone provided by the Works Planning team.

Travel across the city to carry out maintenance tasks in carpentry, plastering, roofing, and ground working.

Finish your workday by 4pm from Monday to Thursday and by 3:30pm on Friday, allowing you ample time for personal activities.

Occasionally work overtime during evenings and weekends, with plenty of notice provided.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Full valid driving licence is essential.

Proven experience in the carpentry, plastering, roofing, or ground working industries.

Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.

Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with city residents.
