Location: Leicestershire
Salary: £14.37 per hour, 37 hours a week

Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join our client as a Waste Transfer Station Supervisor. This role involves overseeing the Waste Transfer Station and managing both internal and external haulage operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the Waste/Haulage team, including Operatives and HGV drivers.
• Collaborate with other supervisors and assist Waste Management Officers and the Senior Haulage Officer.
• Provide visible leadership and direction for the team.
• Manage and operate a variety of plant and equipment, including HGVs, loading shovels, telehandlers, and other site equipment.
• Assist in operational performance, financial management, staff training, and development.
• Ensure services meet all statutory duties and responsibilities.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in waste management or a related field.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to operate and manage various plant and equipment.
• Excellent time-management and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexible and proactive attitude towards work.
