The Role
We are seeking a talented
Electrical Design Engineer
to join our client’s growing team near Farringdon Tube Station. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of high-profile projects across commercial, residential, and mixed-use sectors. You’ll be involved in all stages of design, from concept to completion, delivering
innovative, sustainable, and efficient electrical solutions
.
Key Responsibilities

Design and develop electrical systems for building services projects

Produce detailed electrical designs, calculations, and technical specifications

Collaborate with mechanical engineers, architects, and clients
-
Ensure designs comply with
BS7671, CIBSE, and building regulations
-
Use
AutoCAD, Dialux, Amtech, and Revit MEP
(desirable)

Attend site visits, client meetings, and project reviews
What We’re Looking For
-
Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or Building Services
-
3+ years’ experience in electrical design for building services
-
Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, including
lighting, power, and fire alarm designs
-
Proficiency in design software such as Amtech, Dialux, and Revit (preferred)
-
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
