A great opportunity for a Fire Door Engineer to join our expanding team and lead our Fire Door compliance for the Enclave brand.

We’re looking for someone with experience, positivity and commitment.

With 4 developments and almost 2000 apartments, this isn’t a role for the faint-hearted, but it is a unique opportunity to be part of something record-breaking and help forge the Enclave brand.

Key responsibilities:

Operational:

• Complete the annual Fire Door surveys on each development, preparing a condition report to flag compliance or safety issues.
• Check all door hardware, seals and frames to ensure they meet compliance standards.
• Complete quarterly inspections for heavy traffic doors.
• Maintain accurate records of inspection and repairs.
• Complete required maintenance to ensure all doors and frames meet the required standards; carpentry experience will be required.
• Replace door sets, frames and hardware as required.
• Train and educate the on-site maintenance teams to assist in future inspections.
• Willing to travel Nationwide to developments, as required (travel costs are included to developments outside of London).

Skills and Experience:

• Experience as a Fire Door inspector.
• Experience in repairing/ replacing fire door sets, frames and hardware, in line with required standards.
• NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification in carpentry and joinery.
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Joinery for Fire door installers or other relevant trade, or equivalent level of competence obtained from on-the-job experience.
• FDIS Accredited, or equivalent.
