Overview

We are seeking a professional and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team in the plant & tool hire industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio with up to 100 accounts, ranging from 1.5-2.5 million a year in value, covering the greater London region. This is an exciting opportunity to join a 5-man team that is rapidly growing to 8.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to increase revenue
  • Provide product knowledge and support to customers
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities

Experience and skill set required

  • Proven experience as a Key Account Manager in the plant & tool hire industry
  • Strong understanding of powered access, lifting, access equipment, and tools
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage a large portfolio and meet sales targets
  • Knowledge of the Greater London region and its market dynamics

Day-to-Day

  • Engage with key accounts to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Analyze sales data and prepare reports for management
  • Attend industry events and networking opportunities
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve overall company goals
