Overview
We are seeking a professional and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team in the plant & tool hire industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio with up to 100 accounts, ranging from 1.5-2.5 million a year in value, covering the greater London region. This is an exciting opportunity to join a 5-man team that is rapidly growing to 8.
Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts

Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to increase revenue

Provide product knowledge and support to customers

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction

Monitor market trends and competitor activities
Experience and skill set required

Proven experience as a Key Account Manager in the plant & tool hire industry

Strong understanding of powered access, lifting, access equipment, and tools

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Ability to manage a large portfolio and meet sales targets

Knowledge of the Greater London region and its market dynamics

Engage with key accounts to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions

Analyze sales data and prepare reports for management

Attend industry events and networking opportunities

Collaborate with the sales team to achieve overall company goals
