Maintenance Operative
Reports to: General Manager
Works closely with: Facilities Manager (FM), who has an electrically-biased background and would benefit from plumbing expertise.
Up to £28,000
Experience Required:
6-12 months of experience in any maintenance environment.
Ideal opportunity to develop residential maintenance skills under an experienced mentor.
Exposure to a variety of systems due to the site’s new build status, including snagging and defects repairs over the next 12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with ongoing snagging and defects repairs, contributing to the overall maintenance plan.
Learn and support the effective maintenance of all systems on-site.
Work in a front-facing environment; must be professional and polished when interacting with residents or clients.
Use tech-based systems to log repairs and tasks, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
Provide additional support during busy periods, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach.
Skills & Qualities:
Basic understanding of electrical and plumbing systems preferred.
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with residents and team members professionally.
Tech-savvy with experience using online systems to log maintenance requests and repairs.
