Description

Carrying out mechanical maintenance both reactive and planned on a range of equipment including AHU's, piped and ducted systems, pumps, pressurisation units, plumbing and pipefitting.

The post holder shall have knowledge of L8 requirements both theoretical and practical.

Responding in a 'hands-on' capacity to Critical Plant breakdowns and undertaking remedial action in the field.

Completing and recording PPM tasks.

Carrying out routine inspections of plant and systems during each shift.

Assisting in implementing emergency and contingency procedures as required from time to time.
Profile
-
Appropriate City and Guilds Certificate and/or Mechanical Craft Apprenticeship. Must be able to demonstrate a range of M&E skills and experience.

Minimum two years' experience as a heating and ventilation fitter/building services, or equivalent working on the mechanical services installations within buildings on a large estate.

Has received some specialist training and has experience in Condition Based Maintenance, refrigeration, air conditioning, combustion, pumps, valves, legionella, sanitary services, controls systems.

A competitive salary range of approximately £37,000 to £45,000 GBP.

Annual Leave is 30 days, plus 8 statutory and 4 additional days during the Christmas holiday period.
