Our client is looking for an experienced and passionate professional to join their expanding sustainability team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a wide range of high-profile projects across diverse sectors, including workplace, healthcare, education, heritage, sport, leisure, and residential. The role offers a collaborative and dynamic work environment where you will contribute to meaningful projects that make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and delivering net-zero carbon strategies and assessments (covering both operational and embodied carbon)
  • Leading material lifecycle assessments, including embodied carbon analysis
  • Conducting circularity assessments and providing environmental consultancy services
  • Managing sustainability assessments for frameworks like BREEAM, LEED, Ska, and the WELL Building Standard
  • Leading post-occupancy evaluations to improve building performance
  • Overseeing environmental management systems
  • Delivering NABERS assessments

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Solid experience in sustainability consultancy within the built environment
  • Proven expertise in delivering BREEAM assessments
  • Strong knowledge of UK environmental legislation and its application to development projects
  • Experience in delivering assessments under LEED, Ska, or WELL Building Standard
  • Proficiency in preparing and delivering presentations to internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with experience in producing technical reports
  • Experience using lifecycle assessment tools like OneClick LCA
  • Experience with circularity assessments and consultancy
