We are seeking a Document Controller to join a leading main contractor specialising in construction projects. This role involves working closely with the project team across various London sites and requires travel between them. The position is office-based with no current option for hybrid or remote working.
Day-to-day of the role:

Set up and maintain an efficient document management system using Deltek.

Support the project team to ensure documents are updated, tracked, and recorded appropriately.

Update, maintain, archive, and retrieve procedures, registers, trackers, and databases.

Train project team in using the document control system

Be the go to "super user" for any queries

Assist in creating reports and technical documents.

Manage and control the circulation of information.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Document Controller, preferably within the construction, rail, or civil engineering industry.

Previous experience using Deltek document control system (or similar) is essential.

Ability to manage time effectively as you will be working across a number of sites.

Excellent attention to detail.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency in MS Office and document management software.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with various project teams.
