Davenham have an exciting opportunity available for an Panel Wirer / Electrical Fitter / Wirer to join our team based in Fairham, Nottingham. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £32,500 to £35,500 per annum based on experience.

About the role

Hours: 39 hours Monday to Thursday, 7.30am to 5.30pm. Voluntary overtime Friday to 1pm, paid @ x 1.5

As a Panel Wirer / Electrical Fitter / Wirer with an understanding of electrical systems the role will involve working to 3-phase schematic drawings to manufacture switchgear assemblies. Working in a team you will be contributing to the manufacture and assembly of cutting-edge components that power our innovative power solutions.

Your key duties as our Panel Wirer / Electrical Fitter / Wirer will include:

  • Assist in the manufacturing of top-quality units for electrical switchgear systems.
  • Working to detailed CAD created drawings and schematics
  • Ensure maintenance of all company equipment
  • Operate machinery and equipment expertly, ensuring seamless execution of tasks in line with established procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with your team to meet and exceed production targets and deadlines
  • Uphold our company's standards and deliver products of unmatched excellence.
  • Adhere to 5S principles, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations

What we are looking for in our Panel Wirer / Electrical Fitter / Wirer:

  • Demonstrated experience in electrical wiring manufacturing or similar
  • Demonstrated work experience with hand tools and power tools is necessary
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, proficiency in English (written and spoken) is a must
  • Demonstrate initiative and precision, adhering to strict quality standards
  • Independent and able to work under tight timeline with exceptional time management and ability to multi-task.
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills
