Finance Manager- Office Based

We are seeking a Finance Manager to join a growing team. This new role is an exciting opportunity for a professional with experience in the construction industry and expertise in Construction Industry Scheme (CiS). The successful candidate will manage two finance team members and contribute to continued growth.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Oversee daily operations of the finance department.
  • Manage and mentor two finance team members, ensuring professional development and efficiency in their roles.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, particularly with CiS requirements.
  • Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to aid strategic decision-making.
  • Implement and streamline financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align financial management with overall business operations.
  • Handle month-end and year-end closing processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum qualification: AAT Level 4, Part Qualified, or Qualified by Experience (QBE) in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of Construction Industry Scheme (CiS) and its application.
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience managing finance teams.
  • Proficient in financial software and MS Office.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
