We are currently seeking hardworking and reliable Surface Laying Operators to join a growing and respected team working across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with previous experience in groundworks, labouring, or surface laying – or those looking to start a long-term career in this sector with full training provided.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain groundwork areas for surface laying
*
Load and unload construction materials safely and efficiently
*
Operate and use an industrial mixer to prepare laying materials
*
Transport mixed materials via wheelbarrow to site
*
Screed and roll surfaces to ensure a high-quality, smooth finish
*
Follow all site safety protocols and health & safety regulations
What We’re Looking For:
*
Previous experience in construction, groundwork, or surfacing (preferred)
*
Experience using a float or mixing as a labourer (advantageous)
*
Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential)
*
Must hold a valid CSCS card
*
Reliable and flexible – able to work evenings and weekends as required
*
Willing to work away from home on UK-wide projects (accommodation and travel provided)
*
Positive attitude, good communication skills, and ability to work in a team
