Acorn Recruitment require a Site Engineer in Newport

Our client is looking for an experienced site engineer for a commercial project Newport

As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for:

* Surveying and setting out duties - Drainage, Ducting, Structures, Roads / Lanscaping
* Check drawings and quantities
* Plan the work and organise site operations
* Liaise with any consultants and sub-contracts engaged in the project, as necessary.
* Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to
* Ensure quality records are maintained
* Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise

Candidates must have:

* Be educated to HNC / HND / Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
* Site-based engineering experience
* Hold CSCS Card

Duration - 40 weeks
Daily Rate - Negotiable
