Liberty has an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Assistant to join our Responsive Repairs Team, based in Salford. You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis working 40 hours per week and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £25,584 per annum Plus Excellent Benefits!

Responsibilities for the Facilities assistant role are:
Daily facility site, welfare checks (all toilet areas stocked, beverage areas refilled, water trays & dishwashers emptied)
Clear debris from bin store into the skip
Ensure all external site is swept and clear of debris. paper and weeds
Tidy of external site areas, light pruning of hedges
Ensure the external storage areas are clear & tidy
Monitor external skip areas
Clean internal glass partitions
Ensure the van wash & air pump is working, refill with fuel soap
Monitor the in or out of any plant – update spread sheet
Any minor site repairs ( toilet seats, putting up notice boards/shelves, lock change etc)
Painting of small areas in the building
Movement of any desks & chairs
Help and Support BS team & Facilities Supervisor with any small admin task
Support D2D managers
Carry out weekly checks of storage areas & cabins
All weekly & monthly compliance checks (1st aid boxes, Emergency lights, fire extinguishers & shutters are in working order)
Action any deliveries that come to site
Direct any contractors that come on site
Advise facilities supervisor if facilities stock, stationary etc requires ordering
Support D2D managers
Prepare H&S new starter kits
Movement of vans between Liberty sites & the garage
Ensure the spare vans are empty, clear & clean for handovers
Report any site issues to the Facilities Supervisor
Update fleet spreadsheet regarding, van valets & bearer card usage
What we are looking for in our ideal Facilities Assistant:
Experience working within the social housing sector on void, responsive & disrepair activities. Demonstrated ability to improve service and performance and be capable of using IT systems, including Microsoft Office software in particular Outlook Word and Excel. Experience within a social housing/ construction environment is required.
