Reporting into the IT Project Manager, work across projects and programmes to identify business problems and opportunities.  Analysing, documenting and validating requirements to then define and implement suitable IT and business solutions for the Liberty business which provides Housing Maintenance and Heating & Compliance services to a range of clients.

We are looking for an IT Business Analyst who can undertake a full end-to-end role on multiple or complex projects/programmes.  You will ideally have a strong understanding of business analysis techniques and delivering methodologies such as Waterfall.

To be successful in this role you will be a collaborative and effective communicator with the ability to interact with stakeholders of all levels as well as have the skills to breakdown complex problems and manage projects through to successful completion.

Responsibilities for the IT Business Analyst role are:

• Plan and manage the analysis tasks throughout a project using a range of best practice analysis tools
• Manage requirements throughout the end-to-end lifecycle ensuring traceability at all stages
• Work closely with internal IT teams and external 3rd party suppliers to design, test and implement suitable solutions
• Support detailed test planning and execution activities
• Ensure internal teams are appropriately trained in any new functionality to facilitate a smooth implementation
• Review business applications for efficiencies and subsequent implementation
• Work with the Liberty business and clients to identify enhancements
• Ensure all requirements and business processes are clearly documented
• Assist the planning of projects in conjunction with the IT Project Manager
• Prepare detailed test strategies and test scripts to ensure comprehensive testing

What we are looking for in our ideal IT Business Analyst:

GCSE or equivalent standard in Maths & English.  BCS, ISTQB, TOGAF and Lean Six Sigma experience desirable.  Experience in requirements definition, process mapping, testing (SIT, UAT, Regression), data analysis, training, implementing change, business analysis techniques, delivering methodologies such as Waterfall.  Working knowledge of works management, application, housing and document managements systems.  Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel and Access). Ability to work to deadlines and strong communication skills.
