Foundation Personnel is seeking a Shuttering Carpenter for a tunnelling project in Birmingham. The role involves formwork installation, creating and setting up shutters for concrete structures. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in formwork carpentry within civil engineering or tunneling environments and will be responsible for installing and maintaining formwork to high standards of safety and precision. This is an opportunity to work with a leading contractor specializing in complex tunneling and infrastructure projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install shutters for formwork to support concrete structures
• Read and interpret construction drawings for accurate formwork installation
• Ensure formwork is securely installed and meets project specifications
• Work efficiently with a team to meet project deadlines
• Maintain all health and safety regulations on-site

Qualifications and Experience:

• CSCS Blue card (NVQ2 in Formwork)
• Proven experience as a Shuttering Carpenter in construction or civil engineering projects
• Strong knowledge of formwork systems and techniques
• Ability to work with precision and attention to detail
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
