Town Planner / Senior Town Planner
Salary: Up to £35,000 (depending on experience)
Location: Ironbridge, Shropshire
My client is seeking an experienced
Town Planner or Senior Town Planner
to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware professional looking to work across a range of sectors, including retail, commercial, and environmental planning.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Conducting policy and planning history research

Preparing strategies to secure planning permissions and associated applications

Writing Design and Access Statements and Planning Statements

Negotiating with officers and liaising directly with clients and other consultants
Requirements
-
At least five years' private sector experience
-
Chartered status (or actively working towards it)

Personable and client-facing with strong commercial awareness
-
Full UK driving licence
-
Full-time preferred, but part-time considered
