Job Title: Commercial Sales Representative

Location: Somerton, Somerset

Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 8am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday

Salary: Circa £30,000 PA

The Role:

You will join a small, customer orientated sales team passionate about providing the best possible service to clients! You will be liaising with both existing customers as well as new ones, you will need to be adaptable as customers range from cash customers to multi million pound house contractors / builders and building merchants.

Responsibilities:
As a Commercial Sales Representative, you will:

• Support the Commercial Manager in daily operations
• Develop and maintain trusted relationships with customers
• Identify and manage opportunities
• Collaborate with scheduling teams to ensure excellent service
• Resolve customer complaints promptly
• Build a network of contacts to uncover sales opportunities
• Carry out after-sales quality checks and address queries
• Report on sales performance and market conditions
• Manage sales administration tasks, including quotes and contracts
• Attending company events

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

• Proven experience in sales, preferably in the construction industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage customer expectations effectively
• Competence in sales administration and reporting
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel
• Proficiency with MS Office and familiar with CRM systems
