Freelance Quantity Surveyor

Winchester

Day Rate £350 (outside IR35)

Subcontract Procurement - 3 months

I am representing a respected Main Contractor based near Winchester who is searching for a Freelance Quantity Surveyor.

The contractor is undergoing a very busy period and requires the services of a Freelance Quantity Surveyor to undertake sub-contractor procurement duties for a period of 3 months.

You will support the Commercial Manager on a large library refurbishment project and will be responsible for undertaking subcontract procurement duties.

The company will consider either a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor and the options of working outside IR35 will be considered.

Requirements of the Freelance Quantity Surveyor:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
• HNC or Degree qualified.
• Refurbishment or New Build experience.
• Good knowledge of JCT forms of contracts.
• Good understanding of traditional building methods.
• You will have subcontract procurement experience.
• You will live within 1 hour commute of Winchester.
